Auping - Boxx

Royal Auping (Koninklijke Auping b.v.) is the largest independent bed manufacturer in The Netherlands. Until 2005, Auping distinguished itself with coil spring beds. In order to get into the box spring bed market, the manufacturer asked Kommerkors to design a box spring variant called BOXX. This bed is characterised by a young design and striking fabric colours.

The design

We provided a connecting link in the production process. The BOXX was initially made on the basis of a metal frame and coil springs. This was later replaced by a fully fledged box spring. Our design gave Auping time to switch over production. This bed distinguishes itself by a young design and striking fabric colours. Thus Auping was connecting with a new generation of bed buyers.
